About pterion

Pterion is a searchable directory of UK medical, surgical, radiological and allied workshops and conferences. We aggregate events from more than twenty public sources — royal colleges, specialty societies and course providers — and bring them together in one place so consultants and trainees can find the right course without trawling a dozen websites.

Every listing links straight back to the original organiser. We don’t sell tickets or take a cut — when you register, you do it on the organiser’s own site. Listings are refreshed automatically throughout the day; each one shows when it was last verified.

Filter by specialty, stage of training, date, format and location to narrow the calendar to what’s relevant to you. Saved filters, a weekly digest and CPD logging are on the way.
